Its very well written. Everyone is allowed to stay with IE if they so choose. I have tried many, for my money its ether Firefox or Netscape that I use. Opera is ok. But there are still some things that you can't do with any of those browsers so you still have to pull up IE now and then. No one has ever said Firefox is perfect. Its just much better in may ways then IE. But it all comes down to what you like. Its kind of like women. You ether love them or hate them, and the ones you hate, someone will love.

Even at work I'm pretty open, I use Opera 9 on 1 PC, Firefox on the other. & thats the setup I chose to use

Firefox doesn't block the popups you mentioned because it lets trough popups that were opened by a mouse click. FF assumes that you opened the popup intentionally because you clicked on the link to open it. This is often abused by an ad script: You have a normal link that leads to the place you wanted to but there's also a javascript event that says "on mouse click open popup". You could alternatively block all popups but that would disable many "genuine" links that open popups for example to display a larger version of an image.
